This guy broke into our apartment and stole my friends laptop. Got a few good pictures of him on security film. Anybody have any advice on what to do after a burglary? Already filed a police report. Anything else that might help like some kind of online face recognition?

Put his face on a poster and post them in public places around your area.
You can also post fliers saying, LOCAL THIEF, IF KNOWN PLEASE CONTACT bla bla bla.

>online face recognition
Facebook and Twitter would be your best bet. Chances are he lives near you, and he's a friend of a cousin of a friend or something. Just post your pictures and say "this guy robbed my apartment, post and re-post until somebody recognizes him"

1. Get an easily concealed knife and go hunting.
2. Start doing random walks around the neighbourhood and even neighbouring suburbs.
3. If you find a guy who fits the profile, get more info on him (license plate, frequent area of movements etc.)
4. Once you are sure you've found him, find a way to surprise and knock him out swiftly or subdue him with a knife by his neck.
5. Take him to a secluded area indoors.
6. Ask him about stuff he stole.
7. Retrieve all stuff he has stolen even what wasn't yours.
8. Cut off all fingers and/or stab him in both eyes. Remember he has to pay for the rest of his life.
9. Take him and release him at night in a public place.
10. Watch local news and feel satisfied.
