I understand he was tired and all from his work day, but if that's the case why even come by? I basically just spent time with him for an hour. I told him if he felt he was going to be too tired or if he was going to fall asleep the moment he comes here to not come but he insisted.
Do I have a right to be annoyed? I wish he told me he didn't want to go out so I wouldn't have to fix myself up and if he wanted to just stay in the house, it would've been nice for him to stay awake more than an hour.

i know it's annoying, but he was probably trying to stick it out because he didn't want to disappoint you. the wine also might have helped to make him even sleepier.
try to appreciate his intentions, but also let him know that it's frustrating and that it would be better if he were just up front with you about how he feels.

The thing is I didn't even ask him to come over. He asked to come over. We were maybe going to go out some place near my workplace but he said he would get out too late so he asked to come here. I understand his intention but it just sucks that we couldn't even use the time to do anything.
