My friends are giving me shit because I haven't gotten laid in a long time. I'm admittedly on the second longest drought of my life, but frankly, I hadn't been even thinking about it much. They're worried I've given up.
I mean, when I think about it, I'll look up at a girl I think is attractive and immediately decide it's not worth the effort. That I don't want her calling me, wanting to hang out, or having to worry that my house is clean, just for a little action in the sack, when I could just happily jerk off and go back to watching hockey.
I am almost 30 though, I have my looks and my finances and I was typically good with girls when I was trying. Do I need to get myself out there and drop the porn?
I've only been interested in 2 girls since I dumped my girlfriend 2 years ago, and neither one was dateable anyways.

Just so we're clear, I'm not all about sex. This is just for the sake of my buddies that are on me about it - they don't give two shits about me finding the love of my life.
This leads into relationships too. I'll look at that same girl and think "what're the odds we have anything in common? Do I want to play 20 questions with them just to see if they're funny, have a decent job or head on their shoulders, like sports, like travel, whatever?"
It's so much work for someone I might not have any compatibility with, just because I think they're cute. I tried online dating but every girl wasn't great. My ex actually was from a dating site, but I found out into the relationship that the things she said she liked weren't really true, and she just wanted to impress me.
