I venture in and see a load a few links. I click one expecting to see some sort of porn. I don't really know what I was expecting.
I certainly wasn't expecting stolen child porn videos from the police.
I freak out. Delete everything including drop box.
Feeling sick now, still shaking. I'm pretty scared some of that stuff got downloaded on my phone idk...

It usually works like this:
When police is VERY bored, they create "honey pot". In this case it can be thread on 4chan pointing to juicy stack of files anywhere. Then they just wait and watch.
Anybody who clicks gets on their list. This is usually where it ends. But when they are really really bored, they may personally (ie not automated) see what you do. And once in a while they usually bust your door in the morning and then find 1+TB of juicy files on your PC.
When you are in foreign country, they just tell your local police.
In my country there was a short news about 25 people arrested after such info was given by USA few years ago. But remember, judge needs hard evidence before sending you to jail. But because cp is pretty rare, pedos save hungrily any evidence against them and make police's work much easier.

With all the tracking I think they would know the difference between people just browsing and those who are hardcore pedos saving hundreds of pictures.
