I just wanted to see if anyone here can help me figure out what the fuck is wrong with me. For a long while I've been having urges to scoop out my eyes (I know it's not major depression because I feel fine) and I have problems sleeping at night because I feel bugs crawling all over me (not psychosis or schizo, cant be THAT severe.) so what's wrong with me and how do I get better, /adv/?
This is definitely a form of schzophrenia and you should see a psychiatrist. I had something similar happen. Get help.

Yes, sometimes. Depends on how deep you are. Some people have full-blown delusions, thinking theyre in the CIA or something. Some people just have auditory or visual hallucinations but don't believe anything crazy. Some people have both.

Anything can happen, but I'd generally say no.
Reality is what your mind perceives and when your shit is getting overwritten at the source, it's probably impossible to deny it.
It's like if you wake up one day and everyone calls you the wrong name; it's your reality and even if everyone challenges you, you can't just reject what your brain says is truth.
The guys out there who think they're Jesus Christ, they can actually still tell EVERYONE ELSE who thinks they're Jesus Christ is crazy when they're put together in the same room. The ability to introspectively assess yourself isn't always possible.
