Im about to buy some sneakers and I can't figure out if them being black would fit faded jeans.
Picture related, those are the shoes and the jean color is the actual color.

Lighter colours would probably work better with faded jeans desu.
Black sneakers are awful. You end up either looking like a skateboarder or a Slav.

That would probably look like crap too, but at least each individual piece would be decent in its own right.
The only time I wear dark jeans is when I'm wearing boots or proper shoes with them.
Lighter jeans, lighter shoes
Darker jeans, darker shoes
But 1 pair grey Chucks and 1 pair black Chucks and call it a day.
