How much of good looks is genetics compared to how you dress, hygiene, diet, haircut, etc?

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I always thought that was more making fun of people who waste a ton of money on designer clothes.
It's not a question of "how much" really. They're more like yes/no questions. If you've been cursed by nature then there are no good looks to be found no matter how well you dress or groom. On the flip side you spoil the perfect divine sculpting of flesh by treating your body like garbage.
