If they wanted it to be a dating site, it wouldn't be an easy "swipe left" thing where you can choose people like you're at a buffet. It would be more like a real match site.
If women have co-opted Tinder to be some serious LTR dating hookup site, then that is a problem of both the women with unrealistic expectations, getting into something they don't know about, and a lack of Tinder/Grindr being explicit (perhaps not to offend women).
But honestly. Tinder was for hooking up casually. If you wanted a real dating scenario, there's already tons of older apps to use. Does it make sense to search for your soulmate on a phone mobile app, where you just swipe through different people like you're picking out a candy bar, while you're bored sitting at starbucks?

Nope, you're the one that's not seeing that subtle difference. They know that the guys on Tinder are looking for sex, it's just that one group, the "hamburger guys" if you will, sees her as basically a hole and will probably just roll over after he's finished and not be at all concerned whether she enjoyed herself or not. With that process I've met one fuckbuddy each year 2014, 2015 and 2016. Not exactly bathing in pussy, but then again I'm an overweight unemployed depressed 24 year old who pretty much only plays vidya, watches series, eats and sleeps.
All three of these girls have caught feelings pretty quickly even though they were completely on board with the fuckbuddy thing in the beginning.
