Hey guys, OP here.
One sleepless night later and I'm still where I was when I started this Thread here. I don't see myself finishing in time.

I guess I have two options here, I'll tell them that I will not be able to deliver on time and ask if I could hand in at another date

OR

I'll go to that nice doctor that is a family friend of ours and tell her what's going on, she will most likely give me a "sick note" (according to dict.cc) without any trouble.

Option one may work, but I'm unsure about it.
Option two seems better, I mean they can't force me in if I'm sick, right? Also we'd have a free week after the day where my essay is due, so that would come in handy and would give me time to finish this shit.

So what do, /adv/? Be /honest/ or be /smart/?

Yes, it would, but you aren't finishing shit. You will think you have a whole week to finish it, so there isn no need to start day one, and will be back here a week later with the same question
