I have nobody to go to for help and no money for therapy, and to boot it's really fucking embarrassing so I want to remain anonymous. What are some things I can do do break the addiction on my own?

Having a sex partner does nothing for a porn addiction. Sex is like any other appetite, the more you feed it the more it grows. Having a partner can give you a reason to stop using porn (i.e. she'll bawwww if she sees your internet history) but it will do jack shit to take away the desire.
