Ok /adv/ I've been seeing this woman who is significantly older then I am and is the first time I've really dated somebody older than I, it's been wonderful, never dated somebody so seemingly perfect for me with all her flaws
Just curious as to her body language around me when we walk
Together rather then holding hands she'll move to lock her arm around mine, I've seen other older couples do it but never really encountered it before untill now.
I don't think she wants to get too attached as she is moving to another state for a while soon but her body language seems different to what I think she is thinking, she's confused about it all I know that much
Have you ruled out more practical reasons like height difference or sweatiness? Otherwise, she may just see holding hands as a bit immature. Ask her.

Could just be preference. I like to grab my boyfriend's bicep because I prefer to be "escorted" rather than hold hands. I'll do both, but I really like to have my hand on his arm. Could be the same for her.
If you're wondering about her feelings you should probably just ask about them directly.

Perhaps you're right, it's all very well confusing atm especially with her daughter at home makes it hard to spend time together what we normally would do
