And He began speaking and taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called the sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be very glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in this manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

What the hell are you doing on 4chan?

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Luke 5:32
So is this a serious thread, or a troll thread because I happen to be in need of some advice from fellow believers.

I'm not OP, but I'm a practicing Christian and I might be able to give some advice.

Well, I made a thread about a week or so ago and got some interesting secular advice, but I've been wanting some anonymous advice from a Christian.
I have an accountability partner and we keep each other in check when it comes to pornography. We share our struggles and victories with each other, and it keeps us on the straight and narrow, so to speak, when it comes to concerns with lust.
However, I've recently started viewing more and more... taboo... porn. Nothing illegal, mind you, but some hardcore stuff and even some gay stuff. Just for the thrill and difference of it, you know? I guess my question is should I tell him? This kind of stuff has the potential to change the dynamic of our friendship, even though I don't think he'd judge me for it, but still - it's a scary thought.
Should I mention it's a struggle? Or should I just keep it to myself?

>I guess my question is should I tell him?
Isn't that literally what accountability partners are for?
>This kind of stuff has the potential to change the dynamic of our friendship, even though I don't think he'd judge me for it, but still - it's a scary thought.
Yes, yes it is. That's the point. Be brave.

Yeah, I completely agree with what this guy said

Makes sense. I guess the one thing the other thread brought up (that made some sense) was "Do you guys go into descriptions of the type of porn you look at? If not, why would you start? Porn is porn." and that makes some sense, but in the context of Christianity, the stuff I'm looking at occasionally is it's own beast, it seems.
But I am leaning to what yall are saying. I should probably tell him. That way, someone will know, I can have that support, and he can pray for me, at the very least.

I will pray for you too

Love this song, especially the Jesus Culture live recording. Great reminder, too.

The angels in heaven record all the words of men. We are going to be judged by each and every word we said. THAT is why it is SO important that we have our tongue in check. If you are saying things that are perverted it is because you are a pervert, and NO perverts will enter the KINGDOM OF GOD. Are you REALLY holy and pure? Or are you a pervert? May the grace of Jesus be with you and NOT the curse that comes upon perverted people.
