You'll never be happy if you keep on comparing yourself to others and there will always be someone who is better than you at something. Instead, try to improve yourself even if you need to take baby steps. Don't have a good job? Keep looking. Work on your resume, be well groomed and be persistent. Don't forget to keep looking and everything will fall into place. If you're not happy with your body, it's something you can always work on so start lifting today. You can't do anything about your height if you're insecure about it, but lifting will definitely boost your confidence. A prestigious university doesn't mean shit as long as you go to college or a state university and get your degree. It still shows dedication and the fact that you're doing something with your life.
I personally don't care too much about having a well paying job because I'm focusing more on school and I'll worry about my career once that's over. Knowledge is much more self-fulfilling than wealth and I have more time to exercise and hang out with friends by working part time. Stop caring about what society sees as a high status citizen and start doing what makes you happy. That's what makes people attractive.

Nothing "everyone else is doing" is difficult because otherwise everyone else wouldn't be doing it. Achieving a good body, confidence and conversational skills is pretty straightforward, you follow a fitness program and put yourself into social situations every day and after a certain period of time you'll be there.
Entering to a good university and a good job is a bit harder but similarly straightforward, it's about putting the hours in. You don't need to be a genius to learn the contents of any school book, for they are made for the purpose of being understood by as many people as possible. All you need is some self-control to be able to sit down and study the book for as long as needed.
Some people need more time and effort, but eventually almost everyone can achieve the results. Spending a couple of hours a day doing these things for a consistent period of time isn't difficult.
