How would you take the edge off a very stressful life? (Please no drugs or addictions...)
Exercise does it for me, in any form. Long walk through the woods, or just going to the gym or cycling around in the area on my bike.

depends on what the stress is. for me, the best way to remove stress is to simply remove it. if someone takes more than they give, then i cut them out. but there are certain tihngs like a job you love, but have tiny issues with, or whatnot.
for the general stresses of life that cant be avoided (and take a serious look at your life and considering cutting things out cuz you can cut more than you think) i like to make a list of everything i need to do right before bed. i never do it all the next day, but writing it out takes it out of your brain cuz its assured you know what to do, instead of sitting there thinking and rethinking all night.
i enjoy having a cold beer while sitting in a hot shower.
going to the gym works out my anger.
i tend to cool off most nights by simply coming to 4chan and chatting,.
