It's not about having two physical parents present its about having two incomes. Single parents are poor. And being poor effects how a child turns out. If a single parent made the same as an average two income household then their children would be fine. But that doesn't happen often.

I was raised by mother only. My dad left when I was about 7. I'm 19 now, my mom hates all males so I can't really talk to them or date. But I do it anyway without her knowing. I do like older guys and I always feel like i need to be talking with a guy. I also have been used for sex and it makes me feel like shit but i agree to it anyway. So maybe growing up without a dad may have messed me up a little. Idk you decide.

kinda. not physically no, unless your budget effects their diet so much, but even poor people can eat healthy if you stretch it right and make sure your kid downs some fucking carrots instead of a cookie.

all that being said, does it matter? the big issue is really that you wont be around much. you gotta work.
