I feel like I'm in an endless loop of distracting myself. I cycle from video games to YouTube to porn then back again. That or I'm either high or drunk. I do have a job and a girlfriend that keep me busy but I feel like I could do more. I use to be so motivated but now I have no idea what I want in life. How do I get that focus and drive that I lost?

Try meditating. Just turn off your PC and mobile phone and just sit for a while in complete silence, and think about whatever.

There's no secret to meditation. The ancient buddhists didn't need a youtube video in the background. Just lay back, relax, remove ALL distractions and focus on thinking.

Meditation is just a fancy term for relaxation. And the breath thing never did it for me, I use light levels to remain empty and focused.

I know about meditation and how it would be good for you but I'm too busy jerking it, playing video games, and getting drunk to meditate.
I feel like the answer is to get over it and meditate anyway but do you guys have words of wisdom or advice for pushing pass this?
