What language is best if I want a job as a code monkey? Javascript

What language is best if I want a job as a code monkey? Javascript seems to pop up a lot in job ads, but I'd like another opinion.
I'm familiar with c# (from using Unity for a few years), and bits and pieces of other minor languages.

From what I've heard there is no best language. Some programming languages will always be in demand and have more job opportunity than others. I think Javascript is a safe programming language but so is Java. I've heard Javascript being criticised for being less easier to write and correct than Java.
