Grandma is on hospice and it's taking a toll on me on the inside. I don't want to live through this next week. Saying goodbye randomly on FaceTime was not how I imagined saying goodbye.

I'm sorry, anon. It's never easy. If it makes you feel more accepting of the Facetime thing, my grandparents died in the 90s, on the other side of the country, so I never even got that. I'd say your situation is pretty neat, actually. That's a nice use of technology.

Is there any way you can get to her side to say goodbye in person?
