Is it possible to move on from a relationship too quick? In early February my girlfriend decided she didn't want to be in a relationship after three years, after 4 months of me trying to fix us. I cut contact completely a few weeks ago, but since I'm still young and don't want to become a sperg I'm trying to learn how to actually date people and talk to girls, but in the back of my mind I feel like I may be moving on too fast. I've been trying to justify it with the fact that the past 4 months couldn't even really be called a relationship with the way things went so I technically had all that time to recover while it simultaneously sunk.

4 months is still incredibly early mate, I broke up with my lady in October and still have some lingering feelings. They say that it tends to take about half the time of your relationship to fully get over someone, so you're looking at around a year and some before you may stop thinking about her.

but to answer you question, yes I would think 4 months is still quite early.
