Should I just flat out ask this recruiter what the pay and benefits are for the position she's harassing me about?
Recruiters hit me up all the time because I'm good at a job most people find boring and shitty. They're always, "OMG I SEE U HAVE A GIRL.... I mean job... BUT DO U WANNA LEAVE HER... I mean leave it??" (It's like I'm dating these fucking people).
The things is... I don't mind leaving my current job, but it's entirely dependent on whether or not they'll A) pay me more or B) give me a shit-ton more benefits than I currently have.
I'm not interested - at all - unless this is the case because what I do is basically the same no matter where I am. So it really does come down to $$. I couldn't give less of a fuck about the "work environment" and "work life balance" because I work fine with everyone and I'm not trying to have "a life" I'm trying to have fucking money in this US economic shit hole we're in. So I REALLY don't give a flying fuck about the "opportunity" unless it pays. And there's nothing I detest more than wasting my time floating around interviewing with jobs I won't take.
But everyone and their mother tells me "Oh no don't do that, that's not how business is conducted." Why the fuck not? i thought business was supposed to be about making money, not massaging feelings.
