you cant be expected to go to court for an unknown reason. thats not how the law works. either they served you or they didnt.

if you have a court date you HAVE to know why, otherwise you wouldnt be able to have your own legal team ready.

on top of that, if it was rape there'd be cops involved. you dont really 'sue' over rape. you press charges. and for that police have to be involved.
