How do you get a cat to stop doing something? my cats keep repeatedly

How do you get a cat to stop doing something?

my cats keep repeatedly doing things (eats plants, goes up on desks and knocks shit over, jumps on my computer and turns it off, etc) and and moving them seems to makes them want to come back even more.

I've got shit to do and can't keep stopping what I'm doing to go deal with them, how can I stop them from being bad?

Orange oil. Cats usually hate citrus. Also, they sound bored. Give them more shit to do.

they definitely are bored, but I can't fix that. they have a million different toys they won't play with, and the only toy they love (pipecleaners) they lost. I haven't had time lately to go get them.
