I'm a poorfag and I've mooching off other people for tools. I decided it's time I get my own but I'm not sure how far I need to go.

So far all I have is

>jack stands
>hydraulic jack
>oil pan

I only do basic maintenance on my car. I built a wood bench once and put my tv on my wall. I'm only expecting to do car stuff in the near future or even distant future.

Would this set be a decent start and then just supplementing it with shit like hammers, pliers, etc?

>set of feeler gauges
>mallet and ball pein hammer and chisels
>decent jumper cables (computer proof) or a jump pack at the least when it happens you will be thankfull i said it
>rechageable LED torch
>pliers and circlip pliers
>strong arm bar and torque wrench
>timing light
>allen keys
>and lastly: heat shrink and soldering iron and solder for those small electrical jobs

only other stuff you may need are the set of torx bolt heads. you may not need them but they do come in handy every now and again

no you dont have to buy all this stuff all at once.
only stuff after that need to have in any workshop is parts washer (worth it weight in gold) and grinding stones for cylinder head work. also welder
