A few years ago, I tried "jelqing". I still don't even know if there's any truth to the claims of its effectiveness in penis enlargement (probably not), but I was desperate, so I started doing it anyway.

Apparently, the grip I used exerted too much pressure. There wasn't any pain, nor were there any plainly obvious visual signs of injury, but I noticed afterward that I could no longer get a normal erection. I could bring myself to orgasm, but it wouldn't really get hard, and it took constant stimulation to keep it up. Even stopping for just a second would cause it to go limp. In addition to the severe erectile dysfunction, it's also much less sensitive than it used to be.

Over the last few years, I've gone to a few different urologists, but none of them have provided any answers or solutions. They all basically allude that the problem is in my mind, that I'm too young to have erectile dysfunction, that I should see a therapist/sex therapist (like this will somehow make my dick hard) and then they prescribe PDE5 inhibitors. None of these ED drugs have had any noticeable effects. And the condition hasn't improved.

I don't necessarily expect /adv/ to know better than medical specialists, but do you think there's any hope for me? Are there any surgical procedures or other treatment options that might fix this, but that I'm not informed about because urologists have insisted that I don't have a real problem? Could masturbation have prevented this from healing properly? Should I abstain from doing that?
