give him your moral support and remind him frequently what's at stake. also, get real friendly with her.
I'm in a similar situation as your dad: I'm sort of stuck with her because of ties between mutual acquaintances. that pressure prevents me from doing drastic things.

Get a career where you're not dependent on whatever your father does.
Get a career where you move far away and stay far away. If you are in a backward society, escape.
