Don't use 40 mg your first time for studying, that would be too much.
Are they XR? If so, break it open and smash the fucking beads. XR is fine for ADHD and shit, but for studying it lingers far too long as you will be sick of studying after like 4 hours, but you'll have another 4-6 hours of medication.
Anyway, here's how you should do it:
Open capsule, smash beads, take the resultant powder. Get some snacks and drinks, and study in a place you won't be interrupted for a good 4 hours. After that you're done. Watch a movie, take a shower, whatever.
PS: Crashing sucks dick and is why I don't use amps anymore.

Hey OP, I already know what you're talking about.
Dealt addy for 8 years. I can tell you without having to see them that you have Adderall XR on your hands.the XR stands for Extended Release, and thats why it looks like a capsule full of fish food and not a basic tab like aspirin. It's designed to be taken orally, and slowly disperse over an extended peroid of time.
Honestly Dealers push these for profit, because they're cheaper than normal adderall, and in higher demand. But a 20MG tab will give the desired effect much quicker, and will be felt equally as long.. but most druggies havent figured this out yet.
As far as how to take the ones you have, If it's your first dose I'd only take one. too much will give you similar effects to that of a caffeine overdose.
Snorting it will give you a euphoric rush (not true for everyone.) but the effect your looking for would probably last longer if taken orally. If you're going to snort it, for the love of god crush the beads up. you do this by splitting the capsules (bite that shit, get some scissors, rip them apart, whatever the fuck. they're not super glued shut.) and dumping the beads out on a plate or in a bowl. if you have a mortar & pestle use that, cause were grinding that shit into powder. if you used a dish, grab a spoon and crush the beads in between the spoon and the dish until ALL of them are evenly crushed and mix the powder around. maike lines like all the coke movies you've seen, and snort them... Assuming you know how to do that here.. if not there's youtube.
you can also dump them in your mouth and chew the capsules up and swallow.. or crush them using above methods and dump into pudding, apple sauce, etc. and eat it. or mix into your drink and finish it.
whatever you do understand that there's 2 types of beads within the capsules. both are coated with wax, but one has a thicker coating designed to activate in 4 hours. if you have more questions I'll be here.

Also I'd like to add an alternative method, but feel free to ignore. A lot of students smoke weed to focus/relax for studying, and I can honestly tell you that one of the most productive high's you can have are from smoking adderall dusted weed. just put the addy in your grinder with the weed your gonna grind and pack/roll like normal. if you don't have a grinder you can simply break down your weed and put it back in the baggy/bottle you had it in and dump the addy in as well, then shake it up. It's a good, focused, happy, creative, precise high. but can cause chest tightness and the smoke taste like chemicals, so the experience screams "this isn't healthy for you" and i wouldn't recommend doing this every time you smoke. It's my preferred way to addy though.

if you decide to snort, your nose will likely be uncomfortable and burn. but that goes away.
it's not acid or meth, don't expect this crazy rush or your face to rot. think of the effects more like niquil. you drink it, and in half an hour you realize "huh.. I feel kinda tired, must be the niquil." except a bit more exaggerated.. and with productivity.
if you decide to smoke it with the weed (which i highly recommend) then again just note that it can cause your chest to be uncomfortably tight, like you hit a dab. and probably isnt healthy for you to do daily.

yeah, those are generics, slight possibility that coming down will be a little less enjoyable than brand name adderall, simply due to the inactive ingredients. but your not gonna foam at the mouth or get a migraine or anything. you'll just generally feel fatigued, and probably want to be left alone.
also, for verification, snorting will get it done sooner, but also end quicker. large chance for euphoric effects (still nothing to worry about)
orally takes longer, but more intense effects, less euphoric chace, lasts longer than nasal.

If you want to lose weight, determine your metabolic basal rate, and eat less than that amount of calories daily. for example, my MBR is 2400, if I'm trying to lose weight, I'll eat 2000 calories a day. literally doing this and not doing anything else will make you lose weight. pair this with some actual activity like working out, running, or even just walking, and it speeds up the process.

There's a dealer in your area. just as certain as there being a coin in your couch.
if you go to school, especially college, sit next to the scholars or the stoners in the cafeteria for as long as it takes to hear some form of drug use other than weed. even dab's, but we're looking for terms like xanax, ecstasy, and especially speed, or addy. then just chime in on the convo. Scholars are a bit harder to detect drug use, but if you pick up on any hint of it, simply ask for a few tabs in exchange for money. the worst possible response they can have is "get away from me junkie." and anything north of that is progress.
if literally nobody in your area sells adderall, that means that the insurance companies arent cooperating with the pharmacists in your area, and/or the pharmacists arent cooperating with the MD's in your area. this is due to DEA/CSA clearances in your area because Adderall is classified as a Schedule II drug, and as such, requires more clearance than say, Valium.
the solution in this case is look for addy outside of your area. alternatively find a pharmacist that will handle addy, purchase top notch insurance with an MD that is reputed for prescribing pain killers, and go to him with every major symptom of ADHD, and express that your father/cousin/wife/best friend has it and was put on Strattera, but it didnt work and now they're on adderall and it's really helped him.

I take 10mg everyday for ADD and I have never felt the slightest bit of addiction. I easily forget to take them. The only thing is I can tell when I forget, so I kinda rely on them in order to pay attention at work. I'm sure I can do something to minimize my ADD, but I'm not in the financial situation to start slacking at work.
