So I know of someone who has child pornography on a school issued laptop. He is 18, but supposedly has pictures (that he got from local area girls) about as young as 8th grade. I have already left a tip to the police, and the situation is being worked on. However, some people who know about what I've done say that I am not doing the right thing because he came from a very messed up childhood and that this will ruin any chance of him ever being able to do anything.
Anyone have any advice they could give me in order to deal with my conflicting knowledge of right and wrong?
