Not asking for advice, just venting my thoughts.
I'm a guy, and have a male friend I've known since highschool. He has had all of two GFs that have both ended with him depressed and lonely. I, myself, am into most clean and sane things. Him and I are great friends now, as he now has access to resources I enjoy, while I have an income that keeps me more then happy, and can spend on him time to time (movie tickets, lunch).
I would like to push our friendship into one with benefits. Clearly my friend is a fan of girls, and I have yet to ask him head on (I'd never do so when he in a relationship). Now, he is talking of girls online and asking me if he should even bother. I've told him to "just buy a fleshlight as it has worked for me", which he took as both "lol" and "maybe you are right".
Tonight, while enjoying our vices, I told him we should hang out sometime and "vidya and chill". He took it as "oh you don't know that joke lol!". I mentioned it again after a few hours of other fun discussions, he just lold.
I'm either expecting him to say "eh I'm not into that, but thanks", or to say "Let's hang out more". This simple LOL is putting me on edge.
Thanks for letting me vent. I don't feel bad, just kinda excited.
