I thought i could go here for a question like this. I am 18 and about to graduate from highschool and I am interested in computer science. There is an online accredited college that offers a bachelors degree in compsci for little to no tuiton cost. The dilema is that i am told that I wouldn't be hired in the workforce due to the simple fact that I went to an online college and not a university. Could you give me some pointers on a topic such as this?
That's correct. Your degree is largely just a qualification that serves to tick a box during the hiring process. However that piece of paper should still come from a traditional institution. Start with your local community college and then transfer to the nearest campus for a state school.
