Sometimes you become friends with someone, then they become too dependent on you and you grow tired of them. Doesn't mean OP didn't appreciate her in the beginning, a few of my friendship ended like that (well no one was talking shit on anyone). OP did the right thing calling her out on being a shit and cutting contact instead of faking being friends with her any longer.
