I'm quite stressed about something right now.
I was in Vegas over new years and a friend told me about this trick where you can slip a $20 to the hotel receptionist and ask for a 'complimentary upgrade' during check-in.
So I did it and it was successful and we got the upgrade.
But today I told my boss and other people at work about it. And I work in a financial management company where ethics is really important and a lot of people heard me.
Is it unethical what I did? Am I fucked?

Like, if you're trying to make excuses, it will just make the people from he office read into your behavior more. Have an excuse in mind in case anyone ever directly asks you about it, but do NOT just randomly bring it up and then try to justify it
