I worked a job where I had to wear black slacks, and one day I just wore black jeans because laundry day. My manager told me it was unacceptable. I didn't fight and say "well none of the customers complained! They are black so it doesn't matter!" Because I knew the rules, and if I don't like the rules I can leave the job. You are replaceable. Doesn't matter you had some customers like your service if you don't follow simple fucking rules you'll be sacked.
