I downloaded a calculator app that figures out dosages for different products I have.
How much is a "spoonful"? Is it a teaspoon or a tablespoon? Pretty sure the dev is American.

It's the big normal spoon for eating
If you'd rather serve your food with it instead of eating with it then it's too big. If you can shove it up your nose, or more helpful, you'd rather use it to serve sugar, salt or caviar with it or stir your tea or coffee with it, it's too small.
tl;dr it's a tablespoon, but I'm sure similar sized spoons would work just right, the medication that would use a measurement like that probable has a pretty flexible dosage range.
