So, basically, a friend I was going to trip with is just becoming an asshole and giving me bad vibes, so I've lost interest in the prospect of tripping for now. Problem is, I fronted money to a dude we know so he can get us shrooms. The one I fronted money to is a level headed person in my experience, but I don't know him as well as my other friend does. Should I ask the dealer directly for my money back? Should I try to ask through my other friend (might I add he arranged the deal), who would undoubtedly try to convince me to buy it anyway?

id talk to the dealer and just ask if you can get the money back since you hadnt used the shrooms. make it out to be like 'i totally miscalculated my rent or some stupid shit' and if he is in fact level headed and reasonable he'll give you the cash back.
