Alright feminists I need advice.
How do I make sure my gf is safe when im not around? She has to use the buss to get to her job and its just full of human trash, she gets asked if she has a bf like once every other day. She tells them "yes, and hes in the army" this normally defuses things, but I still worry one of them might get grabby or something.
So besides genocide or helping every inner city poor person, what can I get her to make sure she doesn't get harrased?

I'd get asked a lot too. It got so annoying. I stopped wearing anything even slightly pretty. The semesters in college that I spent taking the bus, I only wore men's t-shirts and jeans, no make up, and rarely did my hair due to the harassment. That stopped most of it to be honest. One day, I'd think "Oh it's alright to wear shorts." Then wear them, then it'd all start again.
If anyone continued after that. I'd just blatantly ignore, laugh at their attempts and tell them they aren't shit to me, or not even give eye contact and tell them to fuck off with their petty bullshit. I tried a variety of things. I didn't care, all the men were strangers anyways and I rarely saw them again. Once told a guy I had schizophrenia and started talking to myself when he wouldn't go away. It worked too.
One guy kinda stalked me for the longest time. That's the only time I've felt like I needed more protection. Because whether I was mean, ignored him, etc. the guy just dementedly thought I was playing hard to get and harassed me for a whole summer intersession. He always asked to sit next to me on the bus, and I said no the first time. But he didn't take the no, asked me everyday until I'd just throw my shit on the seat next to me and tell him to fuck off. He'd just smile and say "Oh it's gonna be like that? Ok." like it was a game. Then he'd sit across from me, smile at me, make kissy faces at me, etc. and I just ignored him and told him to fuck off whenever I could. I started calling my boyfriend and talking to him the whole bus ride, but the dude always still tried to talk to me when I was on the phone. Had I a redo button, I'd punch that guy in the mouth.

Well, I'd hope that you wouldn't outright harass women on the bus on a daily basis. Then there would be no reason anyone would have to touch you.
