Honestly, how at-risk am I for STD's when using a condom with a stranger over say Grindr/Tinder, male or female? I've never been screened for STD's, is it risky to just not know what I may have going into hookups?

Go for it. STI's really aren't that big of a deal in the first place. For example 90 percent of the population has some form of herpes and 4/5 of them don't even notice. Using a condom will most likely keep you safe and if it doesn't most things are easily curable. My advice would be to pick a website more geared to dating than sex though and build up your connection with the person a little before hand.
