My ex recently left me, packed up all the stuff in the house and moved to her friend's. Our shared bank account was cleaned out and she took everything. I'm stuck at my mom's with no job, car or money. How can I make money to feed my cat? She's the only thing I have in this world that's keeping me from killing myself. I've tried Mturk, but they said they were having trouble finding my tax info and now that's not an option. I don't want to resort to stealing.

Find a cat adoption centre in your local area, go in there and give them the rundown of your situation and ask if they can spare a sandwich bag of dry food. Hit up other friends with cats for cat food. If you have a solid rapport with your vet you can try to get some cat food off them as well, they're usually swimming in samples.
It's going to be dry food, btw. It's actually not great for cats to only feed them wet food - they need something to crunch, keeps their teeth in good order.
If she gets hungry let her out to hunt.

Litter is like literally $2 if you just get the store brand. So you're looking at $10 a month. And start training her to be outdoors. My oldest cat is outdoors and doesn't even use the litter box. She is also super cuddly. The kittens use a litter box and I wish they were big enough to go outside already because they poop SO MUCH.

If it's any consolation I know what you're going through. Last year I lost my job and had a terrible time finding a new one. By the last week before re-employment I was in contact with adoption agencies and in talks to have her re-homed, and they were the hardest few emails I've ever had to write.

there's a reason vets, and pretty much everyone else with professional experience with cats, says keep them inside. they're responsible for the devestation of numerous avian species and are literally classed as an extremely invasive species. cats do an extreme amount of environmental damage so you can have your "qt lil hunter :3", since 90% of the time cats hunt, it's just for fun, they don't even eat it. they can have just as much fun inside if you take the time to play with them
plus the average lifespan of an outdoor cat is half or less of indoor cats. a healthy cat can happy live to almost 20, but most people don't know that because they just let them outside where they're needlessly exposed to cars, predators, other cats, asshole humans, and an endless list of diseases and poisons. I used to work at an e-vet clinic and half our damn patients were outdoor cats that got fucked up and the owners just kept bringing them back when it happens. I could go on, but hopefully you get the picture

this is a myth. the carbs in the kibble are pretty much the #1 reason cats develop dental issues, and the carbs really aren't good for them. plus cats naturally don't really have a thirst drive and expect to get moisture from their food, so they become dehydrated easily on a kibble diet. not the smartest creatures, but cats do what cats do
but OP, getting cat food isn't that hard. yes, it will be kibble, probably really shitty kibble at that, but it's better than your cat starving obviously. hit up vet clinics, shelters/rescues, a low income s/n clinics, and look online to see if there are any programs thar help low income and/or homeless pet owners in your area. hell, beg a cat owning friend for food. there's always an option
