She slapped me and called me names, she has told everyone she's met - causing me to lose my friends and the other girl to lose her friends. My and the girl cannot be together as she has entered a relationship since. I am not close to my parents. I haven't slept and have been drinking all day, I have no one to turn to and don't know what to do. What do I do? How do I deal with the guilt? How do I rebuild?

I've cheated on my girlfriend and it ate me alive for many a month before it got the better of me and I ended it.
