How do I stop my gums bleeding when I brush my teeth?
floss
Get interdental brushes and floss. Brush in between all your teeth twice a day. More bleeding at first, but in two weeks it should stop completely.
Brush your gums.
I'm serious. Bleeding gums is a sign of bad mouth hygiene, you need to brush more often.
It will bleed obviously in the beginning but stop after you take better care of it.
Yeah just continue to brush as usual. Don't go too hard on them, but continue to brush. I've had this happen a few times in the past and it sucks, but you got to do it otherwise it gets worse.

Start rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide after you brush.

That ruins the enamel and weakens the structure of the teeth. Once a week is ok, more than that is not.

Also read up to make sure you are brushing correctly. You might be scrubbing your gums away, which is causing the bleeding. Do this before you worsen the situation by over-brushing in panic.

...rly
My mom had me do this most nights as a kid to help kill germs.
Regardless...
I've done it before when I had bleeding gums and it helped.
Additionally, OP,
Get some vitamin C in your system. You could have scurvy. Yarrr.

Coincidence may not mean causality
Deep cleanings at that dentist help. There might be calculus build up. Get routine dental cleanings to prevent this is possible.

This.
They're bleeding because you don't brush them enough. It's nothing to worry about, but don't go too hard on them either.
Gingivitis is why they bleed.
To stop this, floss and brush twice a day. Also, get a dental cleaning/checkup every six months.
Then, they should stop bleeding.
