I have a... strange situation, and I'm not sure how to handle it.
I travel a lot for business, and I'm in Europe a lot, specifically in Amsterdam. I'm there fairly often, probably 5-6 times a year.
Since I'm on the road a lot, I do occasionally employ the services of sex workers. I have a few girls in Amsterdam I see fairly regularly, but there's one in particular that I'm pretty close with. I started seeing her years ago back when she was working in the red light district, and her and I are pretty good friends now. We talk on the phone and email a lot, we play video games on Steam together, I know her real name, I've been to her apartment, etc.
Here's the problem: she's basically retired and no longer works at the red light district, she only sees a few very select regulars as an escort nowadays. The problem is, over the past year, frankly, she's kinda of let herself go, her hygiene has gone downhill, she's stopped wearing makeup, and I honestly don't really enjoy sex with her anymore.
She's a cool girl and I like her as a friend still, but I just don't really want to have sex with her anymore, especially for money, and I'm not really sure how to keep her as a friend without insulting her or pissing her off. How the fuck do I deal with this?

Why not tell her you don't travel that much any more?
Just tell her you can't for whatever reason. Make something up on the spot. Tell her you have to spend the night brushing your cat's teeth or something.
You don't have to explain yourself for not being attracted to someone, and you are by no means obligated to find someone attractive forever. Especially if they stop caring about themselves.

Well, it's hard to say with this sort of thing. I mean, again, we play video games together, we talk a lot, we've gone out for dinner and things before, hell, she sent me a Christmas card last year. I'm not a nice enough person to think that there's no chance she's doing that to keep me as a customer, though.

Girls dig emotional shit. FIRST of all start by just not mentioning sex and never initiating. When she asks you what's wrong or if you wanna do it, tell her "We're such good friends now that I just can't view you as someone whose time I can buy anymore. Let's just be friends."
