I am considered a high functioning alcoholic. Only do it if you can handle it. I don't get piss drunk each day, I drink up to a certain level and maintain it, going through a bottle of Gin (or an equivalent amount) a day.

I am fine with my situation because I don't get completely wasted and don't care for the years of life I loose/already lost. But I didn't decide to do it, it simply happened and I just realised.
