So I met this really cute girl the other day and we made out and had oral sex.

She texts me today and says she has Hepatitis B. What are the chances that I contracted it (I don't think I've had the vaccine for it)?

Would it be worth the risk of having protected sex with her; how likely will I get it and how bad would the symptoms be? Reading online, it seems that there's a chance I wouldn't have any symptoms and that I would become immune to it after 6 months. Also, I'm on 20mg Accutane daily, but am almost finished.

>I don't think I've had the vaccine for it
Do you live in some shitty African country or what
>>
>>16447503
I've lived in upper-class China and Australia. I currently don't have access to my immunisation records.

There are no documented cases of it transferring through kissing, though it is theoretically possible.

Condoms are supposedly 99%+ effective, but you should get vaccinated lad.

Say I went and got vaccinated tomorrow, wouldn't it take about a month before I'm considered "safe"?
>>
>>16447563
The typical schedule is 3 vaccinations over 6 months, but Twinrix can be done as 4 vaccinations over a month plus a booster at 12 months.

Idk man, I would think that you should really try to avoid picking this up if possible. You can end up with liver cancer, damage, or failure, along with some other nasty symptoms like kindey disease, or systemic inflammation of blood vessels. It can really negatively impact your quality of life. I can't tell you for sure what is considered to be a "safe" level of precaution, so I would talk to a doctor if you can to get advice. Either way, definitely use protection if you decide to get with her.

Wtf.

Dude, everyone gets Hepatitis B shots in Hong Kong. The only reason why I need three shots during adulthood is because I am a Pharmacy major and my blood test shows that I'm no longer immune to this virus.

Just got my first shot a week ago. You need three shots for the the whole Hepatitis B shot. If you are over the age of 20, the vaccine used will be stronger.

My advice? Get a blood test. And also get a vaccination. It's pretty cheap. The shot itself doesn't hurt, but your wound will be sore for a couple of hours.

Just met a man who had a liver transplant ten years ago. He had hepatitis B when he was in secondary but then he didn't do anything about it. So you know, do everything you can about your case.

Thanks everyone for the input.
Gonna swerve on this girl cuz ain't no pussy worth my life.

Hey, I got a "天书" about liver transplant and it has a section on Hepatitis B. This is a relevant section. It's in traditional Chinese if you can read it

哎呀,我好久沒學中文。

幸運的是我的中文老師是台灣人所以我看得懂一些繁體字。
但還看不懂這個小冊子。

很不好意思。

Oh, hey, uh, I'm not the OP. I was just commenting because it's relatively rare to see Chinese here and I wanted the chance to show off.

>tfw had awkward sex with a Hong Kong shemale and miraculously came away clean
I'd do it again.
