My younger brother of age 19 (?) labels himself as a girl on the internet. He always chooses a girl name and avatar, and plays as girls in all of his games.
Should I be concerned about him for not labeling himself as his own gender on the web? I mean sure, I occasionally role as females in games, but he does it every time consistently. I feel concerned, because this whole transgender movement is catching like wildfire with our generation (he was born in 1997). To make it more questionable, he's an art major.
A bit of background on him: In real life he is a mama's boy and has very long hair. Our relationship is rocky because he is lazy and never does what our parents tell him to do. Our parents dont punish him for anything and it pisses me off, so I usually dont talk to him. He doesnt like to work, and is currently failing all of his college classes.
I have been wanting to question him about it for a while, but I feel like that would just make things worse. I dont think he has any ambition to be a trans, but again you can never tell with this generation, so I stay concerned. Opinions?
