define inflamed. single lymph node? how big? what kind of infection? does it hurt? is it mobile?

well you aren't providing me with any more history, and i'm going to bed. buddy it could be cancer or it could just be a persistent lymph node. three months is a little worrying. go see a doc. good luck.

I have had swollen lymph nodes ever since mono. Also have had immune disorder, but that is beside the point. Doctors have suggested lymphoma and a biopsy. What a suggestion! I lost a bit of sleep.

Terrible suggestion is all it was. A biopsy would have fucked me up pretty well, physically and financially. So long as soreness is mild and it's not obviously getting weirder, don't worry at all about it.
