I 100% agree with oldguyfag and have felt so for some time.
However, although I agree I can't seem to put his advice into practice. I am not as desperate to get laid or find a girl as I used to be. But I still feel the need for some kind of connection with the opposite sex, and I feel it bordering desperate neediness. I have one female friend atm, and I barely speak to her. My need to gather female friends seems to be growing.
And although I know self-pity is a disgusting trait, one of the worst, I can't seem to get over my own self-pity no matter how hard I try.
I will be spending more time with men in the near future; I'm joining a baseball team, volunteering and looking for work. So I hope that helps.

I agree with all of it except the honor part. Girls only can't understand it if they've been spoiled and adored all their lives. If they get through some situations where the stakes are high and they have to perform and rely on each other, they learn it and value it.
