no idea about at that age but in general, women's reactions to sexual assault depend on the individual. some have trauma, some don't, some people's trauma manifests differently than others'.

I can remember that there was one guy who would touch girls asses when walking by their chairs. It was annoying, but not traumatic. We just told him to fuck off. The other guys where too shy to actually grope girls. There was some fondling, sure. But more in a "pretend fight" and "mutual flirty" way. It's not traumatic at all if you feel like you are still in controle. I could imagine that very shy girls might feel harassed if a guy thought it would be fun to do that whole "play fight/flirty"- stuff they do with the bolder girls, with them. What's your protagonist like and what scenario do you have in mind?

There's a pic in my mind from age 11 or 12 (i'm a guy btw, was very introvert at the time, a "coward") but I remember this girl from a messed up family we had in our class. During break between classes, three or four guys would pin her in a corner and grope her crotch and breasts. She would go insane. Purple red, screaming, but it was like they were feeding on this. Teachers never payed any attentions.

Also we had cases when teachers would escort girls to bus station because schoolmates would be throwing snowballs at them. Well it practice it was more "show as many pounds of snow as you can under her winter jacket". IMO it had rather brutal and sexual connotations.

I think you remember that too dramatially. I'm >>17260109 and i work in a school myself. That girl you mentioned. It sounds like classic attentionwhore. She probably teased the guys and then put on a huge show. The teachers did notice, i assure you. I'm also sure they asked her if she needs them to step in. Maybe they stepped in a few times but then realized that she actually liked the attention and provoked it time and time again.
I can also imagine that they had to escort a girl a few times. Guys with raging hormones sometimes don't know when to stop and get too brutal with the object of their desire. We have one such case in a class i teach atm. That guy is huge and he's very strong. There's this girl he has a crush on, but she's not interested. She's a pretty butchy girl and loves to play fight with the other guys. That is obviously pretty frustrating for the guy anf so he resorted to "tagging her with all his strength" in sports class and shit like that. But she also teases him all the time and is aware of the situation, i have talked with both of them multiple times. It's not traumatic. And those two go at it pretty hard.

In my case from age 6 to 11 i was exposed to brutal beatings, humiliation and destruction of my school stuff by a few specific kids in class. I was the silent type, withdrawn, "cowardly" (had a really shitty situation at home) and school was pure hell for me. Moreover because for all those years I had a feeling of teachers completelly ignoring the violence. It included beating, spitting, pushing dirt in my mouth, etc. Thatswhy I'm a bit sceptical of your assessment, even if I'm sure it can take place in a form you describe.
