Otter Creek had good athmosphere, but it didn't build up to anything. This seems to be a problem with all of your songs though. Also, get rid of those random gangsta "yo" sounds and cringy gunshots. Under the Sea would be better if the ambient sounds wouldn't be cut so randomly. And that "trap" or whatever drum beat just plain sucks. Go for something basic and effective.
I need help/advice on summoning demons. Is it worth it? What is some shit I should look out for
Summon brain, you need it more

how do you even know its real? was thinking about getting into black magic/occult a while back but decided against it, i didnt want to waste my time studying something that could be bs.
I may have a chance with this girl, the thing is.. she lives with her ex bf, and it scares me the fact that she may want to come to live with me (she doesn't have a job or anything).
What to do?
>>16900647
>she's so useless and poor she can't afford to move out and support herself
Try not to be so desperate, and you won't have to ask 4chan if your ideas are bad or not.
If she lives with her ex boyfriend, chances are she's relatively safe to remain there for the time being (unless they've had a huge fall out).
Why not see how things go and end things if she asks to move in?
I don't know, I guess I'm afraid to real commitment
I've been making music casually for my entire life. I've never considered this a viable future for my life although I've mused about being a successful musician someday. I told myself a long time ago that I need to get a real career.
I recently started taking classes in community college. I cannot decide on any degree at this point. I've thought about nursing, dental hygiene, regular biology, medical tech, psychology but I can't get myself to commit because I have doubts that I would find satisfaction in any of these areas although I do find...

Don't try to change your passion. That never works. Besides, you don't have to.
Instead, accept that, like most musicians, you need a day job. Pick a job you enjoy, and continue pursuing your passion -music- as a hobby. Let it recharge you for your job (because we all need to be recharged for our jobs from time to time), and let the job you enjoy recharge you for your music. This is how to stave off burnout.
>>16900773
A day job of course. I get by quite well working at a grocery store but I want to have nicer things and the money to support a family someday. For that I'd need a career, which takes hard work and dedication, finite resources that I feel more comfortable devoting to my hobby.
>>16900641
I can't tell you what you should do. Whether you go down the music path or not is up to you.
Here's the thing: if you want a career in music, then music cannot be a "hobby." People mean well when they say make it a hobby, but that's an incredibly insulting view of it. It can't be a hobby; it needs to be your job. Wherever you work in the meantime to make an income, that's your second job. If you want a job in music, you gotta treat it like one. Make connections, find venues,...

Oh no... I think I just screwed up with a girl... I was joking with her but touched her on the back to say bye, and she squirmed and said 'I hate it when people touch me'.
Now I'm probably a creep and she's going to tell all her friends and then I'll be known as that creepy dude.
Anyway I can remedy this?
>>16900635
no. just stop worrying. she will likely never bring this up to anyone ever again.
Does she have aspergers? Serious question.
>>16900635
Well nah I don't think she'll tell her friends, but yeah true about the creep part.
I'm like her. I don't like being touched. I'm going to be honest here: you really fucked up and this is going to probably take a very long time to fix. Keep your distance from now on or else she'll just find you more and more repulsive. Don't get too physically close to her and keep your hands in your pockets or something so no accidents happen. Be a bit more reserved so that she can see you're...

Is my dad a bad person?
Growing up he taught me to treat women like shit, bully/take advantage of the weak, study 5 hours a day, and never back down from confrontations.
He used to bail me out of jail every other month for something stupid I did. When I was in my teens (and even sometimes now) he'd give me like 300-400 bucks when going anywhere as spending money.
Last night I had sex with my fuckbuddy's sister. I led her to believe she was my girlfriend but I just considered her a fuckbuddy. When she walked in on me with her sister she stomped...

>is my dad a bad person
>spend the rest of the post talking about why YOU are a bad person
it depends on your definition of a 'bad person'. there are so many different definitions and contexts even in modern times. if your dad hasnt gone out to physically harm someone who didnt deserve it, its hard to judge.
we all live off the tears and sweat of slaves. does directly hurting someones 'feelings' really tip the scale?...

You had a bad influence in your life which helped shape who you are now. But you right now are perpetuating that. While he definitely contributed, you cannot blame him for your actions in the present.
You want to blame your dad because you have a reason for it and it's more comfortable than feeling like you did something wrong. People naturally want to place the blame on someone else because fessing up to the fact that your behavior was shitty is a damn hard thing to do. But it's still something that you need to do if you want to be a mature person. You need to take responsibility for your actions.
You've made good progress, you're starting to see that your behavior wasn't right and feeling bad for what you did. Embrace that. We are capable of self-reflection and self-improvement.
I say do both. You've already taken the first step, now you just have to continue it.
>Is my dad a bad person
Yes
>am I a bad person
Yes
How do I ask a girl out in my class?
>wanna grab a coffee?
>wanna hang out this weekend?
>hey, can I take you out for coffee/drinks?
I haven't dated in a very long time, and I've always been set up by friends in the past
So I don't really know what to do.
Give me some /adv/ice, please.
>>16900631
anything but the third one. 'can i take you' asks like you are asking permission. thats like starting the conversation with 'sorry if this is creepy, but you wanna go on a date?'
act like its creepy, or act like you need her permission to ask her out, and you will get a bum rap. id try to take the question out of the scenario all together.
people think aggressive means being a dick, but it doesn't. instead of saying
>wanna grab a coffee?
its...

Thank you for the advice.
We've had a bunch of conversations, and she smiles when she sees me.
She laughs at my jokes, and we sorta gravitate towards the same group when we're workshopping.
>>16900671
nice. so yeah just go and strike up a bit of a talk, and cut it short. its a good way to get her.
GANBATTE.
...but it looks a bit like this
>...but it looks a bit like this
What did he mean by this?
I’m a college student. I had this friend one spends lots of time with. I used to offer my help with his homework (not that of a big deal and if I had the time), it later became much of an obligation than a favor. One day he told me to do this written report for him (he didn’t ask if I could do it he just said DO IT) I said no (for the first time) I was already helping him with something else, I haven’t finished and I had things to do as well. He told me to fuck off and left. I texted him some hours later to tell him I would like to but I just didn’t have the time. He...

Fuck that nigga. He was using you.
I can't tell you how long it'll take for you get over this guy but it'll pass.
>>16900590
Using you X2, Find better friends.
I'm trying to get over it but still I sometimes wonder about it. Maybe I needed to get it off my chest or something. Another thing I missed is that my other friends think we still hang out but they don't know about this... I'll just tell them the truth, I guess
So I was recently separated from my boyfriend (by things outside our relationship i.e. jobs, schools, etc to save our sanity) and I just found out his dad died from cancer. How should I console him? It doesn't seem like he wants to talk to me (since he didn't contact me about it I asked after seeing a post on social media) but I'm not sure what to do. I know that's he's grieving and he might want to be alone, but is there anything I should do? He personally told me it was too late. I don't know whether I should give him space and let him be or try...

Sadly, let him and his family grieve. You're not married so you're not obliged to him or his family. Seems toe regards and that's it.
It's going to hurt him more if you stick around.
I came inside a girl while she was on the pill, am I fucked? she had ended her period the day before so she wasn't ovulating. anyone came in a girl while she was on the pill? do I need plan b?
Should be fine. I'm on the pill and have had my boyfriend cum inside and never ended up pregnant. Don't worry about it.
>>16900559
If she's taking the pill correctly, you should be fine. Just don't do that again because you can't know for sure if a girl is doing it right (or is even truthfully on it at all).
>>16900559
If she took all her pills like she should, no.
Make sure she keeps taking them at the same time of the day, doesn't feel sick, doesn't take other drugs, etc.
With the pill, you DO NOT ovulate. It is rare to get pregnant while you're on the pill if you use it well.
You should read something about sex ed before fucking, man.
>Go to job interview
>Reviewers are two millennials
>Answer their questions pretty well, with details relating to the job applying for
>They only ask three before asking if I had any
>I ask a few - and it quickly becomes casual conversation, like workplace banter I wouldn't expect until a month or so in - to the point of them partially admitting that the job is pretty lame desu but whatever
>I try not to let it get out of hand, I turn conversation back to my qualifications at opportunity and remain upbeat about the possibility of being hired
So I can't really tell - were they casual because they weren't taking me seriously as a candidate, or because they liked me and were comfortable with me?
Pls help a poor lost assburger.
Probably the second. I think your chances are good. Best of luck, OP, I'm trying to get out of my dead end job, too.
>>16900551
Sounds good to me, OP...hell, better than good. Make sure to send a thank you note and follow-up on your application status a week later.
Only a trained professional can diagnose you with Asperger's. Don't self-diagnose and don't use a diagnosis as an excuse, should you get examined.
Good luck with the job.
>>16900551
Wouldn't you want to hire someone you can talk to comfortably rather than someone who's quiet and difficult to converse with?
So I have two springer spaniels and suddenly they've become much more aggressive.
Our father is currently in the hospital for chemo and that means the dogs haven't seen him for a few days. They also are in their cages for about 8 hours a day due to me and my mother's jobs.
Last night they got into a skuffle with one another and one accidentally bit my hand. That has NEVER happened with them before. Today they are barking and going nuts in our yard because our neighbor brought her new dog outside. They bark at other dogs, sure. But to the extend where...

This doesn't take an expert

you need to be the dominant one and correct bad behavior and NEED to give them crazy exercise.
i learn this from cesar milan
>>16900532
The pecking order is now unclear and they are trying to establish dominance over each other and perhaps you and your mom.
>>16900549
This.
Watch some Cesar Milan.
Establish dominance. Use his finger grip method.
Provide exercise. Even a treadmill works. But walks help dominance and bonding.
What do I do when I wake up with a throbbing headache for no obvious reason?
>>16900512
Get more/better sleep.
Cancer.
Go to a fucking doctor, how do you think /adv/ is going to give you a decent answer to that question?
For how long do you usually sleep?
Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night for some reason?
What do you eat / drink before you go to bed? How long before going to bed?
Do you sleep on the side usually, or the back?
Do you take any medicines or drugs?
Is it considered as cheating if I jerk off on webcam with other people? What is the difference to watching porn?
>>16900508
Ask your unfortunate partner, not us
Sigh.
I broke up with my bf for this kind of shit. Seriously, unless she isn't fucking you...there is no reason to do this. Get it together.
>>16900508
...how unfulfilling are you people's sex lives that you feel the NEED to do shit like this?
Every relationship I've ever been in, I've had enough access to great sex that I didn't even consider watching grainy video footage of drugged up slags shoving golf balls up their holes. Value what you have before it gets up and leaves you for being a bag of slime.
