Social inept here...
Girl I'm talking to on tinder brought up some of her "past issues." How do I respond to this? Like I don't want to be pitiful/sorry for her, but I don't want to be too dismissive? Basically, I'm just not sure how to steer the conversation without sounding like "anyway..."
unloading issues on someone early on is a fuckhuge red flag bro
>>16908565
I figured as much... You think I should just unmatch her?
Why not just try something and see what happens? Do you plan to ask /adv/ what to say when the minister asks you if you take so-and-so to be your lawfully wedded wife?
simple question, complex answer ....

It's going to vary with everyone, but you should probably start by asking them out.
Found a scumbag illegally operating business that scams money from elderly people. I have the companies email, phone numbers, the owners name and his address. How to take them down behind the autistic comfort of my keyboard?
Forward the information to law enforcement agencies
Send it to the IRS, tell em you think they're committing fraud.
They'll investigate that shit real quick
How do I commit to a field of study? I like studying science but I'm not passionate about any of it.
If you can't make your mind, you don't have a clear picture.
Learn what doesn't interest you at all, than broad interesting topics, then narrow it down.
well, what is your intended career?
When I started college, I was dead set on teaching English. I got my aa by 20, and started taking teaching classes, I hated it, quit school, and just worked. Then I joined the army at 23, went to school for computer science at 24 (online) and loved it. I'm thinking of doing undergrad now, 3 years later.
Basically it seems like a crap shoot. I never would have thought I'd like cs. Try something you wouldn't otherwise?
So this bisexual girl I've been seeing for quite some time now has been really up and down with me lately.
She was crying one day to me about how her friends were talking to her ex or some weird shit, and y'know, I did the typical comforting stuff with her to make her feel better. She leaves to Idaho the next day and starts to tell me how her gratitude for me grows deeper and deeper and how now she's unsure if she views me as a friend or something more. Then she brought up my feelings about if she dated other people (which she has been with me knowing so,...

What you do is you don't worry about it, and go find another girl. The thing about girls is if they want something, they'll go and get it. It's the current year and all that. She just likes playing games.
>>16908508
Yeah, I understand. It's so hard to tell with her though, because if I go after other girls or if I just want to leave her alone because I don't want to deal with her, she freaks out about how she wants to do something with me and whatnot, and when I do give her attention she also starts to freak out.
Question - if a chick considers herself "athletic" (say, in the context of a dating website) and wants someone in shape, does this mean someone who spends 1-2 hours a day lifting and working out, and eating super clean, or is it just "no fatasses?"
I'm at a normal BMI, and I try to get in about 30 minutes of working out a day, but I don't really have the dedication to get ripped. Is that mostly acceptable?
(I'm aware that if a chick is like a crazy crossfit hardcore workout person, she's probably going to be looking for the same, but I just mean someone who keeps themselves in pretty good shape.)
Able to perform physical activity, which involves figure and endurance. It sounds like you're fine on both counts.
>>16908483
>I try to get in about 30 minutes of working out a day
Please quantify this, because even fatass fatties will claim they work out this much or more daily when they really mean they walked to the mailbox or pushed the grocery cart around the supermarket
>if a chick considers herself "athletic" (say, in the context of a dating website)
You ABSOLUTELY cannot rule out fatties here, it's actually very common for fat women to consider themselves athletic (to be fair, they are usually somewhat physically active). Someone such as pic related might say they're "athletic", but they're definitely still fat.
I honestly don't look at those categories at all, they're totally worthless
Is it possible to be a shut-away in a room but keep a sense of perspective? I like to basically stay inside in a cosy place so I can really focus on the work I'm doing, as well as some reading and watching some films on a big screen (basically cosy inside stuff). I've noticed this changes the way I think though, like in the 'rat park' experiments. I forget really basic things about being alive, like I forget what it feels like to go walk along the seaside, or that there's nice campuses with rock climbing walls or formal dinners - these must seem like...

Maybe, but it's probably hard and requires a lot of mindfulness.
I'm 24 and in grad school. I'm pretty good at social interaction but I enjoy sitting in the house listening to music, playing video games, watching movies, and smoking weed, while also getting my work done.
I find when I have days or weeks of just sitting in the house, class, and maybe the gym a few days a week I make poor life decisions.
All I want is to not be mocked by bullies over my disabilities. Does this make me a bad person?
Absolutely not. May I ask what disability? People are cruel and childish.
>>16908443
not at all. you should assert your dominance more. people only do this shit if you let them. go nuts.
>>16908443
If you are talking about internet trolls, obviously ignore them.
If people in real life are mocking you to your face, have a witty comeback. It helps to learn to improv.
so i was offered a job in IT from a friend who works there. she put in a good word, and now they want my resume and a phone interview right away. i'm 20 years old, and have no college education. my first job was at 15, and i still have that same job. it's as a chef, so nothing to do with IT.
HOWEVER, i've been studying computer science/engineering since i was 12. i've sort of been the IT guy for my local town my entire life.
how do i put that on a resume?
i'm at a loss...

That's a bit tougher.
Best case scenario you could do the A+ or something cert related really fast but that would be like a month at least.
You can say you're enrolled in classes or was in the past if you aren't totally lying.
You can also mention interests, aptitude, willingness to learn, and other stuff.
I'm considering using Craigslist to meet people and get laid. Any advice on how to use Craigslist without getting kidnapped or scammed?
Bumping for advice
>>16908413
Don't use craigslist. Use a regular online dating service. People on Craigslist are the same kind of people who use 4Chan; they will wear your skin like a coat.
>be in our 20's
>gf Carry's on like a full kid brain
>have argument over why she's won't let me study in peace, she's being interruptive

>then couple of hours after that she takes off relationship
>get over it and block her from all social mediaComment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>I'm not done having you buy me stuff yet
Yeah you are bitch. This isn't a charity.
Go back to your studying.

just break up and say you want a more mature girlfriend.

Dead set though is that what it is?
Why am I unemployable?
I graduated in August of 2015 and have been looking for a job since then. I've heard all the shit about getting experience and all that fucking nonsense which is why I was a working student for two and a half years as a student manager and did a bunch of HR shit, anything you could feasibly call HR is something I've done. I joined one of those organizations with executives and businessmen and shit. None of them work in places that are hiring or have opening I'm qualified to do.
I'm not an idiot, and I've been applying...

Like I said, I'm applying to entry/associate level positions in HR and Office Support roles. I don't know if I'm doing myself a disservice by putting my ethnicity (Black) down or not. I've been doing so thinking I'd be a good diversity hire but I don't know anymore.
Ultimately I want to be able to afford graduate school, I majored in linguistics wanting to go into Forensics but I'm not married to the idea and...

Going out with 23yo 5/10 tomorrow
i'm 20yo
we met on tinder chatted a bit and i asked if she wanned to meet and fuck if we like each other
any suggestions on what we do and how i make a move
i was thinking we find something to do get a couple of drinks or/and get high if she smokes and the i`m gonna ask her if she wants to find a room somewhere and order food and watch someting but that means i have to be with my backpack all the time.Should i just ask her if she wants to get a room or go for a kiss first or what?
pick unrelated
Go and drink with her, then get some nice place to chill and fuck.
You got lucky. Most tinder chicks are just stuck up bitches.
So go for it. Buy her some drinks, then drive to some hill and fuck.

dont have a car :|
Hey /adv/
What is your experience with meeting up with girls for sex that you have met through dating sites, or chat rooms?
Every so often a girl will want to meet up with me for sex, i always agree to it but often dont go through with it. I normally stop caring after i have had a wank.
I met up with a girl once for sex, i slept over at her house etc. It was the worst sexual experience of my life. Did i just get unlucky or is shit generally this shit with strangers online?. Currently talking to a girl now who wants to meet up for sex.

>Every so often a girl will want to meet up with me for sex, i always agree to it but often dont go through with it. I normally stop caring after i have had a wank.
yeah basically the same thing happens to me
doesn't help that the girls I can pull easily for hooking up are 6/10 at best
>>16908406
op here. this is exactly why i haven't had sex for over a year. all the decent looking girls take too much effort. all the low level girls are really boring too which makes it worde. currently speaking to one now who is a 5/10/.
>me: so what interests do you have?
>5/10: i just like to go shopping
the fuck lol

Im 18 and out of highschool, trying to find a job,and live alone. I have no friends. Not a single person who cares, and I'd say 9 out of 10 days I don't even use my voice, no one is there to hear it. I've gone up to a week without seeing a single person, and even then it's only to get groceries. What do you any of you do if you can relate? What do you do when you're complelty alone in life?
Are there any local activities you can get yourself involved in?
>>16908380
I live in the backwoods redneck part of North Carolina. My town has a population of 300 people, and there's really nothing around here
>>16908387
You're just 18. I would advise you to save up your funds and move. Also find a hobby and master the hell out of it. Things may seem bad but trust me, it's not.
