I don't know, but if one single member of a team can fuck off and suddenly the whole game has to be shut down, despite the fact that they've been getting several tens of thousands of dollars every single month, and they can't even hire a new artist and start replacing it, then there seriously is a problem with the whole team, not just with the one cunt that decided to quit.
It would take a lot of extra time and all that, but you don't just fucking go "that's it, it's over" after all they received. Played the original breeding season when it was on LOK way before patreon before he hit it big with all the sheckles, Its weird coming back to it after 2 years in well funded development. The game is still roughly the same size maybe 10% bigger sure the art is different (kinda sucks) but some how the game has not grown in scope or size (they have even taken out features not all sex scenes have ejaculation when pregnancy success). there are no new creatures (variants sure but come on)or better mechanics its still just roughly a graphics upgrade. I don't understand why this cost 190,000 sheckles compare this to any other decent patreon game dev that seems to have less than 500 bucks and no team and its hilarious how incompetent they have been. True, the game Cathouse Tale almost died because the lead programmer just left without fucking telling anyone, so the project went on hiatus and restructured itself and it back after 4-6 months of hiatus. Though they have to start a lot over becuase the lead programmer decided "hey, I'm gonna rewrite the whole code from scratch and add new systems" before disappearing, so code was either unfinished or not in the project file.
Game was getting $9k/mo and the lead programmer just ran, and thank god he didn't have the patreon account details to himself.

H-bomb offered Shwig a really exploitable contract that would give shwig the rights to 90% of the assets. Shwig is hired as the art director, but ends up offloading most of his intended work onto Vanilly and delays actual development with meaningless stuff like updating existing art constantly.
4 days ago Vanilly quit because of the complete lack of management from staff meant she had to do most of the PR and chasing staff, alongside a majority of the animation and art updates.
Shwig started a side project with most of the assets the BS team provided on his contract, and just bailed from development with half of the patreon proceeds.

Its probably a bit of both. Hes clearly trying to pin the majority of the blame on Shwig, but hes also not trying to continue the project at all. Now coupled with what Vanilly says, and the history of the project as a whole, it seems like outside of the art, there wasn't much actually done for the project. All of which says that H-Bomb probably was coasting on the art alone, and now with it gone he has literally nothing to show for it.
So rather than keep trying, hes content to just take the money he earned and leave while pinning the blame solely on someone else, so he doesn't look bad. And honestly? It seems to be working. Hardly anyone is asking why he isn't at least trying to hire a new artist? As shitty as it is, he could easily keep the project going for a while still under that pretense.

I got more and more bewildered at what they were doing; it was clear they wanted to lay the groundwork for more "gameplay" but I didn't understand the point when the in-game breeding mechanics weren't very fun. They were workable, but that was it.
