Games like Home Invasion mostly rely on the art which I can't speed up too much for reasons I mention in most of these threads. Mostly just money. Pan was the main writer on the first chapter and I'll be the main writer on the rest, however. So it will make a big impact in that area.

Patreon is the sole reason anything good has came out of the western dev world in the last 2 years, actually. Yes, there are a lot of people milking it and doing piss-poor jobs with getting work done and/or keeping their Patrons updated, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE is.
Also, Anthophobia, Magic Matchup, Overwhored, and I'm sure other games were all completed on Patreon/funded by Patreon backers. (Internal Interrogation should be done by October or so, also.)

It's a pretty simple, small game (that's why it's only $5), mostly plot based. Vanilla, consensual, between the player character and only one other chick. (Can't really change the name of it after it's complete, either, and it fits the game's storyline going with the naming gimmick I have with all the games I'm making/have made.)
The next $5 game though that we're working on currently (Internal Interrogation) is going to have five chicks (three of which you can fuck, plus the player character is a chick), fully animated/english voices, dangan ronpa-esque gameplay in real time, the whole works. No, Indiegogo and others aren't nearly as viable as Patreon.
Kickstarter doesn't allow hentai (it does allow extremely softcore stuff though, and there are a few projects that slip past the cracks with hentai, but this is extremely risky as they won't ban you until your project funding timeframe is complete). It also takes a huge chunk of your project profits, too.
Indiegogo has almost nowhere the userbase that Patreon does for hentai games, so using it is about the same as going to Vimeo to escape the idiocy that YouTube has; sure, you'll get a much better service, but you'll also get 1/1000th the users, and if your project is reliant on funds... (I'm also pretty sure indiegogo doesn't have nearly the lack of censorship that Patreon does.)
Finally, none of the above sites offer any sort of a refund if the project goes under, and the damage is far worse in general, as you're generally pledging huge chunks of money for decent rewards on those sites, whereas the monthly Patreon campaigns usually have very small amounts required to get rewards, as a monthly schedule can afford this. Patreon actually enables Patreon owners to refund Patrons if they have the money in their account with a simple click as well, something the other sites don't allow, AFAIK.
Patreon's also the only site actively TRYING to support NSFW Patreon accounts, by introducing stuff like the instant pledging (which let's be honest, really only benefits NSFW accounts, as the majority of other accounts don't really have much of a need for instant pledge as the rewards are often up in the activity feed).
Kimochi has been dead for ages, Nutaku is exclusive (basically application/invite only), and it requires your game to be done, as does JAST, MangaGamer, DLSite, etc.

I'm not personally into futa, but we're trying to connect with a wide audience with each game we do. Magic Matchup had prostate stimulation, something not in any of our other games, and it was generally pretty vanilla besides that, something that none of our other games can claim to be. Future Fragments is b/g stuff with a wide variety of fetishes. Reclaim Reality is all yuri, something we don't have in our other games thus far (and tentacles, too, although those'll be in FF as well), and so Internal Interrogation will have futa, something unique amongst our games also.
Admittedly, we're also doing futa because a LOT of people asked for futa in Future Fragments, like, probably 5-10% of everyone who's pledged to it has asked for it in the game, and about 30% or so wanted lesbian stuff. Triangulate (the artist for FF) is heavily against doing either of them though, so we figured making separate games (with different artists/programmers) would give those crowds something to be happy about, while of course mixing them in with other fetishes/tastes as well.

That said, we're going with a variety of looks in the game, from "super-animu" to "pretty plain and normal", to fit the wide range of personalities in the game. The artist for it was an artist for Katawa Shoujo, so that probably influences the eastern look as well.

Who said you had to pledge repeatedly to get the game? With most western dev's Patreons, you pledge once and you have that reward/game for life, same goes for my own. The only repeated pledges are for people who want to stay on the activity feed (which is out of my hands, if I could make that a one time pledge, I would also), and the monthly demos, which are just basically getting parts of the full game early + getting to offer input on it.
